Succession & Legacy is a Diplomacy variant set circa 1703 at the intersection of three wars in Europe: the War of Spanish Succession, the Great Northern War, and Rákóczi’s War of Independence.

50 Supply Centers (18 to win)
Neutral Minor Powers: stationary units occupying neutral SCs whose orders are set via secret Diplomacy Points (DP) allocations
Affiliate Powers: variation of Neutral Minor Powers that give preferential treatment to their sponsoring power
Additional Home Supply Center: each player can name one extra SC beyond its starting centers to build from
